The Copper Cabin

Completely off-grid, self-contained, it's the absolute hideaway just off the Montreal River in a pine and birch forest. They've got a wood stove and everything you need to be cozy, no matter the season. The Keweenaw Peninsula is pretty much perfect, with all its wildlife, water, and beautiful remoteness. Consider yourself lucky if you can book it out and try to remember a board game or two, and your headlamps.
