Hill and Cabin, Tennessee

A log cabin with a clawfoot tub, loft, and one heck of a fire pit. This certainly isn't roughing it, in fact, it's about as perfect for modern-meets-rustic as you can get because you won't be wanting for anything (kitchen utensils included), but you're also right next to the woods, and you've got guaranteed views for days. Located about halfway between Nashville and Knoxville, you've got an easy drive to get there and about zero excuses for not finding a reason to go. Another plus? Dog friendly!

The Fox House, Tennessee

What's cool about this spot is that it's so close to East Nashville and all the great stuff you and your friends likely want to do. Eat at Mas Tacos? Yup. Hang out at Urban Cowboy's Public House? Definitely doable. As they describe it, the structure is unique in what it offers -- hot plate, kettle, writing desk, a ton of windows, decks, great furniture -- but it also has a shower and bathroom inside the main house (not far away). Another bonus: they're open to renting it out for photoshoots.
